
The application for Graduation is available in the office of Student Records and on-line. There are 4 important steps that must be followed in the specific order listed on the Graduation application. Those steps are:
The application for Graduation MUST BE submitted as least ONE semester PRIOR to
the anticipated graduation date. For those
graduating in the Spring of any
year, it is vital that the application be submitted in the Fall Semester no
later than December 15th.
For students who will complete their requirements Summer it
is required that the application for graduation be submitted by
Friday, February
11, 2011.
After the completed graduation application is received and processed in the Registrar’s office, a letter will be mailed to the student confirming the name and degree to be printed on the diploma and on the graduation ceremony program. This letter will also contain specific graduation procedures.
Waycross College only holds one graduation ceremony a year which is held in May. All students who have completed requirements in the Summer, Fall and Spring terms of a school year are strongly encouraged to participate.
Students wishing to receive their degree in absentia must submit a letter to the office of the Vice-President and Dean of Academic Affairs.
All Associate of Arts and Associate of Science students must successfully complete the Regents’ Testing Program in the University System of Georgia.
