Waycross College Library - Interlibrary Loan Materials Request
Interlibrary Loan (ILL) assists in research by obtaining materials not available at Waycross College. These materials are found in other libraries. The patron fills out an Interlibrary Loan Request and the Waycross College Library staff will request the item. Books are lent to the patron for an amount of time determined by the lending library; articles are photocopied from the original source and the copy sent to the WC Library for the patron.
ILL service is available to Waycross College faculty, staff, and students as an aid to research and study. Other USG (University System of Georgia) students must request Interlibrary Loan service from their Home Institution. Community users may contact the appropriate public library for ILL.
Please exhaust the resources available at Waycross College before requesting material through ILL.
When items are received by Waycross College, the borrower will be notified by email or telephone. Materials may be picked up during regular library hours. Patrons are responsible for the safe return of ILL book loans to the Waycross College Library. Failure to observe the rules of ILL may result in the loss of borrowing privileges.
