Blueprint

Description

A team of two will compete to re-create a construction as closely as possible to the original. One team member will view the construction and prepare a description of how to build it; the second team member will use that description to build the construction.

Competition

One member of a team of two (the viewer) will prepare a description of how to build a mystery construction. The viewer will have 25 minutes to prepare instructions.

The second team member (the builder) will have 25 minutes total time to build the construction; therefore, there is no advantage for the viewer to prepare the instructions quickly. The second team member will attempt to build the construction from the blueprint provided by the first teammate and materials provided.

Note: the builder will have an excess of materials available to him or her at the construction site. For example, if the construction includes 3 red Skittles™, then the building materials may include 5 red Skittles™, and also 5 red M&M’s™.

The winning team will be the one that most accurately re-creates the construction.
