Hare wins WC Library photography contest
April 23, 2012
The Waycross College Library recently sponsored a photography contest in celebration of National Library Week. Entries were based on the theme, “You Belong at the Library.” Phillip Hare of Pierce County won first place with his “Read ‘em, Cowboy!” entry. Charlotte Davis, also of Pierce County, placed second with her entry, “Everyone Belongs.” Lynn Kelly, director of library services, congratulated both Hare and Davis and presented Hare with a $50.00 gift card.
