Waycross Jaycees support WC students

Adam Ferrell, president of the Waycross Jaycees, makes a significant contribution on behalf of the organization to the Waycross Jaycees Perpetual Scholarship through the Waycross College Foundation. The Jaycees have been consistent supporters of the Foundation through their scholarship, which was established in 1987. The Foundation is grateful to the Jaycees for their desire to provide funding to Waycross College students. Accepting the check on behalf of the Foundation is Taylor Hereford, executive director. Also attending the presentation was Dutch McNeal, treasurer for the Jaycees. In addition to supporting their scholarship, the Jaycees’ contribution also supports the Foundation’s FY 2012 Annual Giving Campaign, which concludes June 30. Contributions to the campaign are tax deductible and help the Foundation provide much-needed funding to Waycross College’s faculty, staff, and students through various initiatives, including scholarships.
