The Waycross College Foundation, Inc. was established in the fall of 1976.  The Foundation is a non-profit and tax-exempt organization.  The purpose of the Foundation is to promote higher education at Waycross College; to expand educational opportunities for individuals in the Waycross College service area; to create scholarships; to continue building an endowment that will guarantee continued support for the established goals of the Foundation; and to promote research.  The Foundation is governed by a board of trustees, a group of dedicated community individuals selected from and by the membership of the Foundation. 

The Foundation supports Waycross College by providing the following: academic scholarships for honor students, scholarships for students with financial needs, faculty and staff professional development, Adults Start College Grants for non-traditional students, programs with matching state grants, and public services.  The Foundation is dedicated to assuring that every qualified student can afford to attend Waycross College.
