Each year businesses, service clubs, foundations, and individuals donate to the Waycross College Foundation to assure that every qualified student can afford to attend Waycross College. Listed below are several options for those who wish to make a charitable donation to the Waycross College Foundation, Inc.
General Fund - Unrestricted Donations
Unrestricted donations may be made to the Foundation in any amount. Funds are used for college priorities such as special projects and programs, student, staff and faculty development, equipment, etc. Unrestricted donations are always welcome and needed to assist the College.
Building Excellence for the Students of Tomorrow (BEST)
Building Excellence for the Students of Tomorrow is an endowed fund that allows the Foundation to preserve established programs and to build on the excellence for which Waycross College is known. The BEST Fund generates needed funding, independent of state support, to provide students the full college experience. A contribution to the BEST Fund is an investment in the future of our community.
Endowments
Endowments require a total contribution of $20,000 made in yearly installments or in a single donation. An endowment is a perpetual gift in that interest only is used, never the principal. Endowments may be established for special projects or to assist students with scholarships or grants. Click here to see a current listing of Waycross College Foundation endowments.
