The
Waycross College Foundation, Inc. was established in the fall
of 1976 as a non-profit, tax-exempt organization. Its purpose
is to promote higher education at Waycross College; to expand
educational opportunities for individuals in the Waycross College
service area; to create scholarships; to build an endowment that
will guarantee continued support for the established goals of
the Foundation; and to promote research.

The
Waycross College Foundation is governed by a board of trustees,
individuals dedicated to the community and selected from and by
the membership of the Foundation. In the 2007-2008 academic year,
72 Waycross College students received Foundation scholarships and
grants totaling over $40,000. Additionally, the Waycross College
Foundation provided support for programs to benefit students, faculty,
and staff.
