Waycross College

About The Foundation

The Waycross College Foundation, Inc. was established in the fall of 1976. The Foundation is a non-profit and tax-exempt organization whose purposes are to promote higher education at Waycross College; to expand educational opportunities for individuals in the Waycross College service area; to create scholarships; to acquire funds to continue the building of an endowment, the proceeds of which will guarantee continuing support for the established goals of the Foundation; and to promote research. The Foundation is governed by a Board of Trustees selected from and by the membership of the Foundation. The Trustees are a group of dedicated community individuals.

In the 2010-2011 academic year, 64 Waycross College students received Foundation scholarships and grants totaling over $45,037. Additionally, the Waycross College Foundation provided support for programs to benefit students, faculty, and staff.
