The
Waycross College Department of Continuing Education is designed
to meet the needs and interests of the community and area residents
who may not need or want an academic degree, but who may want
expert instruction and/or dialog with others in gaining or improving
career or leisure time skills, in satisfying curiosity, or simply
in finding pleasure in a collegiate atmosphere. Courses are designed
to appeal to professional, cultural, and recreational interests.
A few examples of the types of classes that the department offers
are Conversational Spanish, Adobe Photoshop, Digital Photography,
Computer courses, music, art, and crafts. We are now offering
online computer courses as well as professional development courses.
The
Continuing Education Department will also assist educational,
professional, business, industrial, and governmental or interested
groups that may wish to participate in or host special career
or developmental oriented workshops for their employees.
