Certificate Programs
Why enroll in a Certificate program?
- Short completion time - May receive certificate in one year or less if enrolled full-time.
- Job ready - Many employers have preferential hiring practices with certificate.
- Credit transferable - 100% of credits are transferable into the same Associate Degree program
- Program integration - There is no difference between a course taken under the certificate program and the associate degree program. Certificate program students and associate degree students are in the same classroom, have the same instructor and perform the ame work.
- HOPE GRANT funding- Most Georgia residents can receive tuition, fees and book allowance regardless of high school performance.
- HOPE SCHOLARSHIP Opportunity - If you make good grades in the certificate program and meet the residency requirements, you are eligible to receive the HOPE SCHOLARSHIP program when you complete thirty credit hours of work and have a "B" average (3.0 GPA) or greater.
