Definition of Semester Hours

Full-Time 12 semester hours or more
3/4-Time 9 to 11 semester hours
1/2-Time 6 to 8 semester hours
0 5 semester hours or less

Notice: Students who have sufficient financial aid to cover all their fees can charge their fees against their financial aid award, by emailing the Business Office at prepay@waycross.edu or calling (912)449-7520.  If you do not send an email or call, your classes will be cancelled for non-payment.

Fees are assessed according to the policies established for all two-year colleges in the University System of Georgia. All fees are due and payable by all students at scheduled registration. Registration is not completed until all fees are paid.

Notice: Fees are subject to change at the end of any semester.

Summer 2008:

All classes will be voided if not paid on the following date: Wednesday, May 7, 2008 (Noon) for all students who early registered. This includes students who are on scholarship, financial aid, and Hope that have not accepted their aid at the Business Office.  You may call the Business Office at (912)449-7520.

Notice: Loan funds will be awarded with other funds and credited to student accounts.

Fees will be accepted for Early Registration starting March 17, 2008 through May 7, 2008. Fees WILL NOT be accepted after May 7, 2008 or before June 2, 2008.

Financial Aid refunds will be processed via Easy Refund (Higher One) exclusively. ALL students must have an activated Easy Refund card. If you have not received an Easy Refund card, call the Business at (912)449-7520.

Refunds: No refunds will be made for a reduction in hours after June 3, 2008. (See the college catalog for the complete refund policy).
