Annual Support of Waycross College Swamp Fox Athletics

Your donations provide annual support to Waycross College athletic programs as well as the student athletes. Additionally, this monetary support plays a vital role in building a program at the NJCAA level. Since the University System of Georgia does not allow colleges and universities to utilize state funds for collegiate athletic programs, donations to the athletic department are extremely important in helping to cover the ever rising costs of travel, equipment, and related expenses.

Current Gifts

The following are types of gifts/donations that can be used by the Athletic Department:
• Cash
• Appreciated/Marketable Securities
• Real Estate
• Tangible Personal Property
• Paid-Up Life Insurance Policies
• Charitable Lead Trusts

Planned Gifts

Contributions to the Waycross College Athletic Program can also be made through planned giving such as trusts, charitable annuities, stock transfers, bequests. Many of these options provide significant tax savings as well as rates of return significantly higher than traditional investments.

Major Gifts

Contributors who choose to donate major gifts can take advantage of the collaborative relationship the Athletic Program has with the Waycross College Foundation. Gifts that support capital projects, facilities, expansion, named endowments/facilties, and special initiatives can be donated through the Waycross College Foundation for special tax relief benefits.
