A sixth member of last season’s Swamp Fox basketball team will continue his career next season with a four-year program.
Darius Tookes, 6’4” sophomore from Lithonia, Ga., has signed to play for Armstrong Atlantic State University in Savannah.
Tookes played in 64 games in two seasons for the Swamp Foxes. He tied a school record for most rebounds in a single game (13) and was the fourth Swamp Fox to score at least 30 points in a game. Tookes will join teammate Kelcey Walker who signed with AASU earlier this year.
“I am excited for Tookes and look forward to following him and Kelcey at Armstrong,” said WC head coach and athletic director Cory Baldwin.
