MARIETTA – The Waycross College Swamp Foxes couldn’t overcome an opponent’s second-half run for the second straight game, losing to the Chattahoochee Tech Golden Eagles Sunday afternoon, 64-52.
WC led 25-24 at halftime and kept the game close until the 10:00 mark in the second half when the Golden Eagles went on a 10-0 run to pull away for the win.
Keldrick Davis and Adam McLeod were the leading scorers for the Swamp Foxes (14-6, 4-4 GCAA) with 13 points each.
WC travels to Americus tomorrow night to face South Georgia Tech. The Swamp Foxes return home Thursday, Feb. 2 for a conference matchup with Middle Georgia College. Tip for the game is set for 7 p.m. General admission to all regular season home games is five dollars with children five and under admitted free.Waycross College has been a proud member of the University System of Georgia since the college’s founding in 1976.
