Swamp Foxes top Titans

The Waycross College Swamp Foxes stayed in the middle of the GCAA conference race Monday night by defeating the Albany Tech Titans at home, 51-49.
Darius Tookes led the Swamp Foxes (14-4, 4-2 GCAA) with 13 points and seven rebounds. Kelcey Walker had 11 points, four rebounds, five assists, and three steals. Stan Maxwell rounded out the top scorers with 11 points, nine rebounds, and two steals.
The win sets up a mid-season showdown with conference-leading Georgia Perimeter College this Thursday night, Jan. 26. Tip for the game is set for 7 p.m. General admission to all regular season home games is five dollars with children five and under admitted free.Waycross College has been a proud member of the University System of Georgia since the college’s founding in 1976.
