Swamp Foxes Booster Club joins local chamber

Jan Sanchez (center), executive director of the Waycross-Ware County Chamber of Commerce, recently welcomed the Waycross College Swamp Foxes Booster Club as the Chamber’s newest member. Pictured with Sanchez are (L-R): Jamie Brooks, assistant men’s basketball coach; Carlos Nelson, booster club board member; Cory Baldwin, WC’s athletic director and head men’s basketball coach; and Jimmy Lamb, booster club board member. The club’s first organizational meeting/open membership drive will be this Thursday, Sept. 22 at 5:30 p.m. in the college’s Physical Education Building. The building is located between the gymnasium and tennis courts. The meeting is open to the public, and those who attend will have a chance to learn more about the club, become a member, or pick up a membership form.
