Baldwin shares defensive strategies with high school coaches

July 18, 2011

Cory Baldwin, head men’s basketball coach at Waycross College, recently spoke to members of the Georgia Athletic Coaches Association (GACA) and the Georgia Independent School Association’s (GISA) Coaches Association during each respective summer conference on St. Simons Island.  During both presentations, Baldwin focused on team defense, which has become a trademark of the Swamp Foxes during the past two seasons.  He said he used his presentations as a way to provide “tidbits that made us (WC) successful,” and to promote the Swamp Foxes and Waycross College.  While at each conference, Baldwin had the opportunity to network with high school and college coaches from across the state, including Mark Fox (right), UGA’s head men’s basketball coach.

Waycross College has been a proud member of the University System of Georgia since the College’s founding in 1976.
