Swamp Fox softball opens GCAA Tournament Friday

The Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association (GCAA) has announced the six seeds for the upcoming women’s double-elimination softball tournament to be played April 29-30 and May 1 at Strong Rock Christian Academy in Locust Grove, Ga. The Waycross College Swamp Foxes, who earned the fourth seed in their first season of competition, will face the fifth seed Georgia Military College Bulldogs this Friday at 1 p.m. The other first round matchup includes (3) Middle Georgia College against (6) ABAC. Darton College and Georgia Perimeter College earned the first and second seeds, respectively, and received first-round byes. Each tournament game will be streamed online, and fans are encouraged to visit www.waycross.edu for more information.
Waycross College has been a proud member of the University System of Georgia since the College’s founding in 1976.
Waycross College's women's softball team will face Georgia Military College April 29 in the opening round of the GCAA Conference Tournament.
