
Waycross College athletes will be training with Eye-Q: www.geteyeq.tv Waycross College will be the 1st Certified Eye-Q Institute in the nation. Our athletic department will use Eye-Q to enhance our athletes reading speeds in order to improve their academic performance. This learning system has also been known to increase peripheral vision and hand eye coordination which will lead to better performance athletically.

Flamm, President, Infinite Mind the developers of the eyeQ software have agreed to establish Waycross College
as the first Certified Eye-Q Institute in the nation.
What is Eye-Q??
Eye-Q software offers students learning enhancement and concentration techniques developed over the last 20
years by Dr. Akihiro Kawamura, two-time winner of Japan’s Emperor’s award. Jeffrey Flamm of Infinite
Mind brought the techniques used by millions of people in Japan to the U.S. and converted the Japanese
program into English. Today, eyeQ has over 1,000,000 users within the United States and Waycross College
now is its first Certified Eye-Q institution.
Why Eye-Q??
The eye-Q/Waycross College program offers students a compelling combination of technology and scientific
research imbedded within revolutionary methods of learning enhancement. Lessons are simple, requiring only
7-minutes per session, dramatically helping students at school, on tests, and studying at home.
Where Eye-Q??
Beginning this fall, Waycross College, as a Certified eye-Q Partner, will offer students eye-Q training in Steps
to Student Success courses for all freshmen and in the Academic Support Center, free of cost. Students will
benefit immediately from this program and should notice an increase in reading speed and fluency. Students
should also improve test taking abilities and realize better reading comprehension, an increase in typing speed,
better concentration, and an increased enjoyment of reading. Dave Lynn, Information Technology Instructor,
will support the partnership by tracking and reporting student progress as they use the product and correlate this
with student retention rates, GPA's, and Regents’ Exam scores.
