Preparing For College
If you’ve completed the application process and have been accepted to Waycross College, you may be asking yourself, “Now what?” It’s natural to be a little anxious about all of the details associated with your first few weeks on campus. Here are a few tips to help you prepare:
- Approximately one month prior to your first semester, you will receive an invitation to join us for New Student Orientation. New Student Orientation allows you to register for classes, meet with your advisor, speak to a financial aid counselor, and get a glimpse of student life on campus – all prior to the arrival of returning students and the start of classes.
- Below is a list of other helpful information and documents that will assist you in transitioning to Waycross College. Some documents should be completed and returned prior to orientation to allow time for processing. In the event that a document has not been completed prior to orientation, it will also be included in your orientation folder for your convenience.
