The Psychology/Sociology Club

President: Faculty Advisor: Robert Lightfoot

The purpose of the Psychology/Sociology Club is to promote psychology and sociology and psychology/sociology related activities among Waycross College students.  The Psychology/Sociology Club also supplements and reinforces the information, experience, and fellowship that the students receive in the classroom.  One frequent activity involves inviting guest speakers from the surrounding communities to speak about their work in the areas we study in class.  Since students want to know the requirements for employment in psychology/sociology related areas, the guest speakers share the educational requirements, qualifications, experience, and certification requirements needed to be employed.  Other activities include community projects, field trips, and socials.

If you have a desire to belong to the club or just want to participate, please contact either the faculty advisors or the club president.  The club is open to all current students, regardless of major.  There are no membership fees.
